March 26, 2022 @ 10:30 am – 3:00 pm
Casting Clinic and Picnic:
How many times have you wished that you could make a better cast or a more accurate cast? I’m sure
at some time we all have been there whether a beginner or a self- proclaimed “expert”.
Bob Clouser, Joe Sherer, and Jon Cave have agreed to run the casting clinic for us and pass on some of their vast knowledge about how to place that fly in the perfect location. If you would like spend a few hours with these real experts and certified casting instructors, join us for the club casting clinic and picnic all for free. What could be better? How about if we also throw in a free lunch of chicken, ribs, and all the trimmings! That’s what you’ll get if you attend this event on Saturday, March 26th.
By the way bring your spouse, kids, or a friend. They are welcome to participate in all activities. The casting portion will start at 10:30AM with lunch being served about 12:30 PM. After lunch the attendees will get a chance to practice some of the skills they learned. Don’t forget to bring your favorite casting flyrod. There will also be a casting competition monitored by the instructors. The winners will win one of the following prizes:
– 6wt TFO flyrod donated by Bob Clouser
– Various flies tied and donated by Bob Clouser
– Various other prizes donated by the club
We will try to finish the competitions and clean up no later than 3:00 PM, This event will be held at
